Rare photos of The Beatles sold at auction
A number of previously-unpublished photos of The Beatles have sold at auction for more than $360,000 USD. The photos were taken by a then teenager in 1964, at their first US concert.

Canon Patents 3-layer 'Foveon'-style Sensor
A very interesting development. Foveon-type sensors, in theory, have some significant advantages in terms of image sharpness and colour rendition.
