Henri Cartier-Bresson Exhibit: The Modern Century

Henri Cartier-Bresson's "The Modern Century" exhibit will be opening tomorrow at the Museum of Modern Art.

It's the first American retrospective in 30 years. If you can, this would be fantastic to attend.

Otherwise, sit back, relax, and enjoy the slideshow by visiting: http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/04/08/cartier-bressons-modern-century-at-moma/ FOR CARTIER-BRESSON PHOTOS

The review by the Times Art critic, Holland Carter is an enriching angle on it too, as he begins: "For much of his long career as a photojournalist, which began in the 1930s and officially ended three decades before his death in 2004, Cartier-Bresson was compulsively on the move. By plane, train, bus, car, bicycle, rickshaw, horse, and on foot, he covered the better part of five continents, in a tangled, crisscrossing itinerary of arcs and spurts."
