One of the most interesting paintings of Ned Kelly, called "Kelly With Horse", which was produced by Sidney Nolan in 1955, has been purchased by the Victorian Government and handed to the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV).
It is the only Nolan-produced Ned Kelly painting to be in the hands of the NGV.
